Bone china table lamp 2021

As part of my experiments with waste materials, I added waste metal into ceramics to see the texture created once fired. I was so excited when they came out of the kiln as the texture was still beautiful but completely different to the fragile texture create by food waste. Unlike with my food waste lighting, metal waste doesn’t allow light to shine through once fired, which is why I used Bone China for this lamp.
